Modular Homes in Bunbury with thoughtfully designed floor plans

Our modular homes bring a touch of refinement to Bunbury’s laid-back lifestyle. We balance form and function to create clever, comfortable spaces that harmonise with the South West, capturing natural light, cool breezes and the region’s scenery.

Every MIRA home is designed to comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), the WA Building Act and the relevant City of Bunbury Local Planning Schemes and Policies.

Our designs have been developed to work with and complement Bunbury’s creative beauty, while being engineered for the realities of regional living.

Factors such as salt-soaked air, seasonal winds, winter rain and local bushfire (BAL) requirements are all accounted for.

MIRA Residential delivers stylish, functional modular homes that install quickly and can adapt to your Bunbury lifestyle.

Choose from compact designs like a one-bedroom starter, such as The Moda, to larger three-bedroom houses like The Homestead, any of which can be customised to suit your block and budget.

Our team will tailor any plan to match your needs, site conditions and dreams. If you need something altered, our team will make sure it’s perfect.

How we work

Milestones to a New Way of Living

Consultation and Discovery

Every journey begins with a conversation. During an in-person or video consultation, our team takes the time to understand your lifestyle, budget, land requirements and your vision for your new home.

Design

Once we understand the vision for your dream home, you’ll select from our range of architecturally inspired designs. From there, our skilled team works with you to personalise the layout, features and finishes, creating a home that truly reflects your needs and lifestyle.

Pre-Construction

Before a single brick is laid, we handle all the paperwork. From navigating Bunbury’s council approvals to helping you select the perfect colours, materials and finishes, we ensure every detail is planned and documented.

Transportation and Installation

Once construction is complete, we carefully transport the modules to your site, handling all the logistics so you don’t have to deal with the hassle. Our experienced team then installs and secures each module with precision using cranes and specialised equipment.

From there, we complete all remaining on-site work, including plumbing, electrical connections and any exterior features you’ve selected, so your home is ready for you to move in with complete peace of mind.

Handover and Move In

With site works complete, we’ll conduct a final inspection with you to ensure your home meets all expectations. We then hand over the keys, officially making the house yours. You’re ready to move in and start enjoying your beautifully crafted new home.

FAQ

Modular homes are an excellent choice for creating a relaxed regional lifestyle home in Bunbury, Western Australia. They can be specifically designed and engineered to suit the local climate and conditions, while embracing the aesthetic and lifestyle of the South West.

Modular construction offers the flexibility to design homes suited to Bunbury’s unique climate and environmental conditions. Prefabricating a home in a factory means each component is built under stable conditions, providing greater precision, durability, and overall quality than conventional on-site construction.

Because every build depends on multiple variables, providing a general estimate can be difficult. The best way to get an accurate figure is to contact us or arrange a site assessment for your specific block.

Yes, you will need approvals from the City of Bunbury, including a building permit, to ensure the modular home complies with the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards. Planning approval may also be required, depending on your block and how your home fits within the City of Bunbury’s Local Planning Scheme.

At MIRA Residential, it typically takes us 12 to 14 weeks from the commencement of manufacturing, depending on the home design and size. The initial planning and design stages will determine whether your build will take 12-14 weeks or more to complete.

MIRA Residential provides a complete turnkey solution, managing the entire building process from start to finish, including organising transport and crane services (if required).
